Most of the adult dating men and women have experienced being teens and in one way or another, they were attracted and fallen in love with a fellow teen or an adult maybe. All of the teens do not want to be limited in their actions and they are willing to break the rules even if they know that there will be sanctions for their actions. Setting limitations in teen dating is the responsibility of the parents and not the teens themselves. They should be able to show their authority as their parents and these limitations is not a bad thing, it is a way to guide them for them to know what to do. That thought is easier said than done because of the teens’ rebellious nature. The only solution for that is the proper usage of language. The best way to make someone do what you told them is through good communication and calm tone of voice. The decision making in setting limitations in teen dating should be two way in a sense that teens and their parents should be able to make compromises for each other in order for them to meet in between. This is very important because parents lets these teen dating to be able to decide on their own, they are being empowered and because of that it is likely that they will observe the limits that the parents have set. Teen dating should involve a good bond and relationship between parents and children. Setting limitations is a sign that parents really care for their children and that they are there to protect them from possible harm. Teens, on the other hand, should understand that they still need guidance from their parents and realize that there are a lot of time for them to experience all they want, should they just follow the limitations with teen dating.
